Watkins Joker

The Joker amp is a Three channel amp with a built in Tape delay (Copycat) made in England around 1963 The first channel has delay and tremolo with a volume and tone. Second and third are just delay and tone. Amp is around 25 watts even though it states 30 watts on the back. the power tubes are 4 EL84 tubes with a EZ81 for the rec. tube the rest are ECC83 (12AX7)s. The speaker is one 12 inch Goodmans speaker, some came with a tweeter on the side. There is a hole on the top right side of the amp that was for the built in mic stand. This was like a PA and amp in one. The marketing thing behind the amp was the young musician can have it all in one case as he or she went to the pub to play. The controls are in the back of the amp. You would set the amp in front of you and adjust the controls to your liking and your in business. The sound of the is nothing less than Great. The list of people that helped make this amp happen:
