Brief Description: Pop Date And Duration: Hazy Jade recorded and mixed 5 songs in 5 days during June of 1999 Album: "So Blind," can be found on Hazy Jade's self titled 1999 release. Production: We have high hopes for these guys. Never before have we had seen such determination towards success. It looks like Hazy Jade is gunna will themselves to greatness. Hazy Jade consists of two songwriters from diffrent parts of the country. The voice and melody behind the music is Johnny B from Indiana and his partner in crime is George Domiano (songwriter/lyricist) from Florida. Sending tapes back and forth to each other, along with getting together and working out the details, these guys have put together literally hundreds of songs. The interesting part is that Johnny B plays nearly all of the instuments on the release (including the drums). Johnny B is also a little loco. Back in Indiada, Johnny B has been known to follow around the local news trucks, and while the reporter is giving his/her local whether report, he jumps on his guitar and plays his songs behind the reporter. And he actually gets on the 6:00 news. Anyway there are definately some strong songs here. The project was pretty basic as far as the way we recorded and mixed it. We had a small budget to work with so we really just wanted to get the songs across. Additional: Johnny and George are currently looking for some investors to back them for a full length album so look for these guys in the future. |
